Pine
Tattoo · since 2017

My name is Pine and I tattoo at Black House Tattoo studio in Prague. I am an artist and illustrator and have been tattooing since 2017. I specialise in microrealism, sketch tattoos and my own take on new school.
Besides tattooing I paint in oil and acrylic and work in printmaking and digital illustration. My work has won awards at international art competitions in Europe.
Style and inspiration
What I enjoy most in tattooing is living nature, especially animals and plants. I also find inspiration in art objects, paintings and sculptures. I work mostly in black and grey and like to add humour, surrealism and absurdity to my designs.
My specialities:
microrealism
sketch tattoo (tattoos in the style of a sketch)
miniature realistic tattoos
signature new school
I also offer freehand, meaning I draw the design directly on the body. The design then follows the lines of the body exactly and becomes a natural part of it.
Preparing for your session
Good preparation helps the session go smoothly.
Come rested and healthy. Do not come if you are ill. If you have no other option, please wear a face mask.
Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication. Medication such as aspirin can cause heavier bleeding, which affects the quality of the tattoo.
Choose suitable clothing. I recommend dark or older clothes that give easy access to the area being tattooed. Leave your favourite light-coloured pieces at home.
Bring good photographs. If you want a portrait of an animal, prepare sharp photos taken in daylight.
What to bring:
a snack, a drink and something sweet
headphones, a book or a series on your phone
a clear idea of the tattoo, its size and style
Limits and recommendations
I do not do microrealism on stretchy areas such as the ribs, stomach, chest or back. There is a risk of the pigment blurring there.
I do not tattoo damaged or diseased skin.
I only tattoo people over 16.
How the session goes
Arrival and consultation. After you fill in the form, we go through your design. I can draw a sketch on the spot. If you then get tattooed, it is free.
Preparation. Once the design is approved, I disinfect and shave the skin and transfer the design onto it. You check the placement in the mirror.
Tattooing. I tattoo you in a comfortable position and we take regular breaks. Tell me any time something feels uncomfortable.
Finishing. After tattooing I calm the skin, photograph the result and cover it with a protective film. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions.
