Reviews of our customers
My vision for a black and white lotus sleeve was quite complex, but Alex executed it beyond my expectations. His ability to capture the essence and depth of Japanese art in black and white is breathtaking. I felt respected and informed throughout the entire process. Alex is a true expert in the field of Japanese tattooing and I would happily return to him for more artwork.

I got a tattoo from Alex and the result is worth it. The dragon is simply beautiful, the colors are great and everything. It hurt a little, but that's probably normal. Very satisfied and I definitely recommend it!

Alex's tattoo is really good. My lotus sleeve is great, maybe a little something here and there, but nobody's perfect. Overall I'm super satisfied and if you want something in the Japanese style, go to Alex!

Japanese tattoo tradition
The tradition of Japanese tattooing is one of the oldest and most significant in the world. Its influence is evidenced by the fact that tattoos from Japanese masters adorned the bodies of even kings - for example, the English monarch Edward VII and the Russian Tsar Nicholas II were tattooed by the oldest masters of the Land of the Rising Sun. Of course, Japan had a decisive influence on the details of the image and style. The classic symbolism of Japanese tattoos is the image of traditional and mythological objects: dragons, carp, demons, flowers, and so on. Note the impressive style of "irezumi" - such tattoos covering most of the body, and in ancient times they were created with needles on a long bamboo "tebori", which took up to 200 hours.
Japan vs. Europe
The Japanese themselves believe that at present only they have preserved the knowledge of the true rules of body decoration. The color, shape, composition and place where the tattoo will be placed traditionally depend on the type of Japanese tattoo. An important component is also the smooth play of colors and chiaroscuro. In Europe, these tattoos are more accepted as an art that came to us from the land of the rising sun, and Japanese masters, connoisseurs of irezumi do not cease to say: “How can you finish a tattoo in one day!”
Popularity in Europe
Now Japanese tattoos are not only not losing, but are gaining popularity in the European part of the world's population. This is primarily due to the aesthetic value of images in the Japanese style. Exciting intertwined signs, images of animals and mythical creatures are an unforgettable image of what a person wears on his body.
